Belt feeder is a kind of continuous conveying equipment, which takes the conveyor belt as the traction mechanism and bearing mechanism at the same time, and is mainly used for short-distance uniform and continuous conveying of various materials. It is especially suitable for conveying materials below the primary crushing, characterized by low cost, strong conveying capacity, simple structure and easy maintenance. Belt feeder usually has a low belt speed, which helps the material to stay on the belt for a long time, thus increasing the stability of conveying. In addition, the design of the belt feeder takes into account the effective volume of the material, through the use of appropriate roller group structure and arrangement, as well as the entire installation of the guide chute, in order to improve the conveying efficiency and transportation capacity. The belt feeder has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to grain, building materials, chemical industry, mining, metallurgy, coal and other fields. Its conveying capacity can be up to 200 t/h, which is suitable for conveying lumpy and powdery materials. The equipment has a compact structure, reliable use and convenient maintenance. Especially for the working conditions used in underground coal mines, special protective measures have been taken, such as lengthening the box ramp to cushion the damage of falling coal to the belt conveyor and effectively avoiding the damage of sharp objects to the tape. In addition, the running resistance of the belt feeder is small, the required driving power is small, and the working life of each component is long, which further reduces the operation cost and improves the overall economic efficiency.
